JOIN US

We are looking for Spirit filled volunteers to join us April 28 - May 2 to help read the Word of God and facilitate the marathon activities.

Areas of Participation

SERVICE TEAM:
Consists of 30 members who do the following:

• commit to making the Bible Reading Marathon their ministry 
• commit and train to manage the Bible Reading event 
• commit to a specific time to be on station for the ninety hours of the Bible Reading Marathon

 
SET UP / DISMANTLE TEAM:
Consists of a team of 12 members who do the following:

• commit to making the Bible Reading Marathon their ministry
• commit to security clearance checks and set up according to the specified items on the permit
• commit to dismantle the event and move the items from the Capitol grounds

BIBLE READING TEAM:

• Consists of scheduled volunteer readers as well as volunteers walking by that want to read

*About 98% will be scheduled ahead of time. These readers sign up for specific reading times if the time are available. It is handled by first come first serve.


Expectations for our volunteer readers:

• Must be a born again Christian
• Must provide personal transportation
• Must arrive 5 minutes before scheduled reading time
